Loom Rental / Weaving Consultation at LaHave Weaving Studio







WEAVING EQUIPMENT ONLY


For weavers who would like to rent a loom & accompanying equipment, by the week or by the month, up until the end of

September, feel free to contact Lesley Armstrong 902-220-5430 or lesley@lahaveweavingstudio.ca.


Equipment includes:

one – 24-harness, 3-box fly-shuttle dobby loom (with 2 beams)

two – 8-harness looms (27” & 60” each with two beams)

six – 4-harness looms (30” counterbalance, 40” jack, 45” jack, 45” jack, 45” counterbalance, 45” counterbalance)

one - 60" wide vertical floor tapestry loom

2 warping mills, sticks, paper, ball winders, umbrella swifts, electric & manual bobbin winders, variety of shuttles,

bobbins, hooks.

Thursday, August 1   Free Community Netting Project with Brooke Gray, lover of netting and knotting and

6:00-8:00 p.m.         Heritage I
nterpreter at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, will lead us in a communal

                                netting event.
  Brooke will also be teaching two evening workshops at the LaHave

                                Weaving Studio this summer.



Thursday,
Sept.12    Free Community Darning Event.  Carly Mullaly will lead us in a get-together called
                
4:30-6:00 p.m.        "Darn It!". Learn to darn, bring your darning, or just join us.
