Introduction to Weaving/
Refresh Your Weaving Skills with Lesley Armstrong
(5 days)
Monday-Friday, June 17-21, 2019; Monday-Friday, August 12-16, 2019; Monday-Friday, Sept. 9-13, 2019

Workshop Fee: $499 CDN/$385* USD (All fees are subject to the provincial sales tax of 15%.*exchange rates subject to change.
Materials Fee: for the sampler is $50.00 paid at the time of registration. This includes a variety of yarns for the first weaving sampler. Yarn for your second project can be purchased at the studio at a reasonable price. Please see Payment & Cancellation.


Nature as Inspiration for Woven Design (5 days)
Monday-Friday, June 24-28, 2019 & Monday-Friday, Sept. 3-7, 2019

You Know You Need a Bait Bag! with Brooke Gray
(2 evenings)
Tues. & Wed., July 2 & 3, 2019 from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. OR Tues. & Wed., Sept. 3 & 4, 2019 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Advanced Weaving Projects with Lesley Armstrong (4 days)

Materials Fee: Each area of exploration will require different materials. Participants may order their own with help from Lesley as to

Textile Discoveries: Traditional Ways/Contemporary Practice (4 days)
Tuesday-Friday, July 16-19, 2019

Workshop Fee: $599.00 CDN/$460* USD, payable at registration time, covers instructors' fees,workshop materials, transportation, and 4 lunches. Designing Geometrics with Nancy Price (5 days)
Monday-Friday, August 5-9, 2019

Materials Fee$65.00 includes museum-grade watercolour paper, tissue paper, graphite transfer paper, extra brushes, extra white

Make Your Own (Do-Wah) Ditty Bag with Brooke Gray (2 evenings)

Thursday, August 1   Free Community Netting Project with Brooke Gray, lover of netting and knotting and

6:00-8:00 p.m.         Heritage I
nterpreter at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, will lead us in a communal

                                netting event.
  Brooke will also be teaching two evening workshops at the LaHave

                                Weaving Studio this summer.



Thursday,
Sept.12    Free Community Darning Event.  Carly Mullaly will lead us in a get-together called
                
4:30-6:00 p.m.        "Darn It!". Learn to darn, bring your darning, or just join us.
